Drinking Game: High Tide/Low Tide

Higher/Lower

How It Works:

  • The House (Ajhisi or Saegar) rolls /random 100.

  • The challenger must choose either Higher or Lower, depending on what they think their roll will be compared to The House.

  • The challenger then rolls /random 100.

  • Compare the two results:

  • If the challenger correctly guessed whether their roll would be higher or lower than the House's roll, the House drinks.

  • If the challenger guessed incorrectly, the challenger drinks.

  • If both rolls are identical, it's a tie and both players drink.

The "drink" in question is a flight of spirits and ales crafted especially by Ajhisi's sibling, Qiraat. While the signature honey-brown ale is a tasty, caramel-kissed brew with a roasty undertone, not every sample is quite as straightforward as it appears.Some of the pours have been spelled with unpredictable effects for the unfortunate—or fortunate—souls who drink it. If Ajhisi or Saegar have to drink, they'll just be drinking the regular ale. If the challenger loses, they'll roll /random 10 for a random effect:

  • If you roll a 1: You feel compelled to play another round of the game.

  • If you roll a 2: You suddenly feel inspired to give a compliment to the next person you speak to (not Ajhisi or Saegar).

  • If you roll a 3: You want to get up and dance! (Do a random dance!)

  • If you roll a 4: Suddenly you're famished and craving something sweet. (Visit a food stall and purchase a sweet!)

  • If you roll a 5: For the next 5 minutes, you have a sea shanty stuck in your head and either hum it or sing lines from it. (Options: Rattlin' Bog; Wellerman; Roll the Old Chariot Along; Drunken Sailor; Leave Her, Johnny.)

  • If you roll a 6: You're feeling adventurous and want to take a carriage ride or get a tarot reading (visit Ingrid Sunnhvatr's stall).

  • If you roll a 7: The brew loosens your tongue. Saegar or Ajhisi suddenly seem trustworthy enough to tell a secret to. (Doesn't have to be a deep secret!)

  • If you roll an 8: This one goes straight to your head. You feel noticeably tipsier than you should, the alcohol hitting harder than normal.

  • If you roll a 9: You're feeling exceptionally generous. Visit Lulha'to Kirtalo's stall and make a donation (IC only, don't worry!), or buy someone else something from another stall.

  • If you roll a 10: A happy calm settles over you for the next 10 minutes; your nerves are at ease, your mood lifted. You feel a bit more talkative, especially open to talking to strangers. (See if you can approach someone who looks like they're alone!)

Honey Pitch Pot Game

Can you hold your liquor so well that you find yourself bored to death while your friends are soused and having fun? Do you have hand eye coordination that's the envy of the Archer's Guild? Do you have both?! Prove it!Come try Honey Pitch Pot, and show everyone just because you're two sheets to the wind, that doesn't mean you can't make it in!

How It Works:

Both opponents line up side by side and scull a tankard full of honey mead. Once done you attempt to throw a stick-bound sunflower into the vase in front of you, easy right? There are five rounds in total with the mead growing stronger every two rounds (10%, 15%, 20% ABV), the last round's mead being the strongest.Whomever makes the most flowers in the pot at the end of these rounds wins! Second place gets to take home their sunflowers for crafting, the winner gets to take home one of our leafy, scaly cuddly little friends!

  • Round 1&2: Roll a D20. Nat 20, you somehow grabbed two flowers and made both in! 10-19, you make it in! 2-9, you miss. Nat 1, you knock a flower OUT of your pot AND miss!

  • Round 3&4: Roll a D10. Roll a 10, you make two in! 6-9, you make it in! 2-5, you miss. Nat 1, you knock a flower OUT of your pot AND miss!

  • Round 5: Roll a D8. Roll an 8, you make two in! 5-7, you make it in! 2-4, you miss. Nat 1, you knock a flower OUT of your pot AND miss!

  • S'more Pie: Homemade chocolate pudding pie filling nestled in a buttery graham cracker crust. Topped with jumbo marshmallow and lightly torched until golden. Available for order in slices or full pies.
